We know there are plenty of men getting around in the construction industry, but that doesn’t mean we should forget about all the hard working women getting down and dirty on job sites right across the States.
In honor of this year’s International Women’s Day, let’s take a look back at some of the great tradesladies we’ve met along the way.
Brittany the Welder – Alberta, Canada
Our northern neighbor, Brittany, started as an elementary school teacher, went into the medical field, and eventually made her way to welding. She took on an apprenticeship progress and has been welding for 5 years. When she’s not welding, you’ll find her out hunting. Get it girl!
Erin the Electrician – Seattle, USA
Everyone meet Erin! She’s a 2nd year commercial electrician apprentice from Seattle! She considers herself lucky to be loving her career. She has plans to become certified in other forms of her trade to broaden her horizons. What an inspiration!
Hailey the Construction worker – Nova Scotia, Canada
Hailey has been in the construction industry since she was 17. It all started for Hailey when she was a little girl, when she followed in her father and grandfather’s footsteps running some pretty heavy equipment. All these years later, she still hasn’t stopped! Hailey still works hard up in Canada and definitely still loves her job. What an inspiration!
Faith the Electrician – Texas, USA
This is Faith, a third year commercial electrician from Texas. She’s grateful she gets to wake up and love what she does. She works so hard she sweats her mascara off!
Hats off to you ladies, keep up the hard work!
If you’re a hardworking woman of the construction industry, we’d love to hear from you!
