Meet Our Team

David Broomhead
Co-Founder & CEO

Trade Hounds came to mind for David Broomhead as an MBA candidate at Babson College. His family was full of trades workers, parents worked in general contracting. His familiarity with the space shined a light on the gap between the technology-enabled tools powering today’s service jobs that just aren’t available for skilled trades. Intent on proving the need for something new he set to work.

Jonathan Clark
Co-Founder & CTO

Jon was born into a multi-generational trades family. As a teenager, he decided to break that trend and got into technology, originally building his first software to help his father who was in the printing industry. This led him to develop the software used to display the format that eventually became known as PDF. This launched a career in using technology to solve real-world problems. Today, Jon is an "amateur" tradesman working on projects around his home and can be found digging holes on his property using his beloved John Deere backhoe.

Frankie Iudiciani
Head of Growth

Both of Frankie's grandfathers were tradesmen; one was a union bricklayer and the other was a waterproofing contractor. Frankie joined Trade Hounds with those unique trade perspectives at his back to help grow America's largest professional community for skilled trades. He has been a consumer growth entrepreneur, marketer and community builder since 2014, cofounding Fam (acquired by DraftKings), the world's first group video chat app for iMessage, growing it to 7 million users worldwide. He also cofounded SmackHigh, a high school student content sharing platform, growing that to 1.2 million subscribers. In his spare time, Frankie enjoys cars and does his best to wrench on them, because they're always broken!

Rob Bartko
Product Manager

Rob started his professional career as a residential framer. After being on the tools for a few years he wanted to get more involved on the business side of construction and more specifically within construction technology. His first company in construction tech was FixIt Service Pros - FixIt brokered residential service contractors to homeowners and property managers while providing automated administrative and payroll services. While running FixIt he saw a greater need to bring the construction industry together through an online digital home for tradespeople. In joining Trade Hounds, Rob’s focus lies with building quality product that connects the work force that builds our country.

Sripall Sridharan
Lead Software Engineer

Sripall grew up around screws and bolts because his father was an electrician on the railways. He always likes to break and fix stuff and fortunately, he is doing the same in the digital world today. He has been in the software engineering business for over ten years, delivering new and innovative solutions for different companies ranging from tiny start-ups to major corporations. He is known in the field for his distinct programming style, quick learning, and dedication to transparency.

Greg Gammon
Software Engineer

Greg has always had a curiosity for how things worked, having constantly taken apart and reassembled various things around the house. Growing up, he decided to pair that curiosity with his love of technology and pursue a career in software engineering. With over a decade of professional development experience and eight years of consulting experience, Greg has worked with a wide variety of industries, technologies, and communities. Greg utilizes these experiences to help build the underlying foundation that powers the Trade Hounds platform. When not writing code, Greg can often be found at a baseball game while patiently waiting for his turn in the Cubs season tickets line, supposedly within the next 20 years!

Drew Andre
Software Engineer

Drew was raised with an engineering mindset that he got from his father, an optical alignment technician for Lincoln Labs. During undergrad at Connecticut College, Drew played in a funk band and used his home-grown engineering skills to build lighting systems for the band that could run autonomously and react to the music. His experience in lighting landed him a gig building custom audio-reactive lighting props for the rock band Boston. He was eventually asked by the college to join an interdisciplinary arts and technology program to learn more about lighting design and computer programming, and it was here that he found a strong passion for software. He met the Trade Hounds team post-graduation through a software agency and soon after joined the team as a software engineer in early 2020 where he has been building front end user experiences for the Hounds community. In his free time, Drew still works on custom lighting for homes and stages and DJs around the Bay Area.

Mark Kjorlien
Software Engineer

Mark grew up in a family with several trades-men, from mechanics to oil and gas workers and miners. This foundation developed a strong understanding and appreciation for the blue-collar way of life. Mark brings a passion for all things creative, whether through woodworking, cooking or creating applications. In joining Trade Hounds, Mark brings a solid connection between the blue-collar and technology worlds.

James Wilson
Lead QA Engineer

James is from a long line of Union tradesmen; from GM in Michigan to the shop floors in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has devoted his technology career to delivering high quality software and advocates for quality-first development. He believes that the workers who build, transport and keep the world running should have great software to meet their needs and show off their skills. Trade Hounds is that place, and we are committed to delivering great tools for every Hound, here in America and the world. Lately, he has been too busy raising his kids to build anything spectacular, but maintains his skills with chicken coops and garden beds.
